Our romantic styled wedding shoot in the Pebble Beach, CA forest was nothing short of amazing. The team was absolutely incredible to work with! We cannot wait to share our images in the future, but for for now here is a sneak peek from a magical day. Decisions, decisions, decisions. I saw a quote posted the other day…”When you love your decisions, the less you need others to like them.”
Since making my new wedding photography website made by Sitehouse Designs I have made a lot of decisions. Colors, fonts, words, photos-and most importantly choosing what to display and how to show the world who I am and what I photograph. While we are constantly making decisions we should love them! After all we have to live with them :)
I have chosen to specialize in weddings because this is an area that I LOVE and I want to master the genre, fully immerse myself in the world of vows, cakes, and flowers, and I want to serve my brides and grooms on one of the most important days of their life.
I went on a photo safari to focus in on what my eye is attracted to, to get more of an idea of what my taste is, and to apply this to my overall branding. Here are images from that project. I am working on a new website and some of these elements will be included in the finished product. Stay tuned!
Mariette comes to visit me on her high school breaks and I am always looking forward to photographing her. To see past shoots with Mariette go here.
I love photographing Mariette because she is so excited for the photos and she is willing to play and have fun with the shoot. This creates an opportunity to end up with an amazing result because she is open minded to the possibilities that can be captured!
And drum roll please…the gorgeous Mariette Ebarle!
Kirk and Jackie flew in from Philadelphia to be married in a town that is very nostalgic to Jackie. Jackie grew up visiting her Grandparents and has fond memories with her siblings in Carmel CA. They were married at La Playa Carmel on December 28th 2012.
Their family and friends came along side them to celebrate their union and I quickly noticed how sweet the relationships are. For the first time, it was hard to get a plain old smiling photo. Lots of laughter, happiness, and enjoyment of each other’s company made for dream photos that produced documentation of their genuine happiness.
Kirk and Jackie thank you for inviting me to be a part of your day, I wish you both the best in this next chapter of your life!
