Birthday

27th Birthday

My parents came to visit over the weekend and what better way to celebrate than with brunch? If you know anything about me, you know I love breakfast. What better way to start the day than with good food, company, and a good view! Since Adam works for Pebble Beach Company we do end up eating at the restaurants within the 17 mile drive gates pretty often, so we ended up going to Stillwater Bar & Grill’s fabulous brunch. This week I took a break from blogging and have been reflecting back and planning ahead.

I feel old enough to be taken seriously, and young enough t0 have reckless dreams (although I don’t think we are ever too old to have reckless dreams). This year, thanks to my couples, brides, family, incredible industry peers…I have a new understanding that life is to be treasured and can be taken away from us in a second’s time. My faith has taken on a new strength as I yearn to learn more about and fall in love with our creator Jesus Christ. I grasp that this life is but a breathe, a short story in a large book. I want to love Adam better, laugh and eat with my family, hold my nephews until they are too big or because it isn’t cool anymore!

This is a year of new beginnings, of building, and being still.

Speaking of new beginnings I have been blogging for about 2 years now and in this time of fresh starts I happen to begin on a beautiful even number-200!

So heres to growing older! Treasure today, tomorrow, and your new beginnings.

Office Space

There was a need within my business and it was time to work on a home office project to designate an area of the home to conduct work. Separate from home life, away from all things that scream just get comfortable you are home. And…TA DAH!

The past week has been used to plan out how I would like the space to be and how I should set up all of my equipment, decor, etc. after the paint dries on the cabinet. The final details are coming into place, but I already notice a difference in productivity, professionalism, and overall excitement about the day to day tasks that are needed to move a business forward.

For me, I work better in an inspiring, clean and organized space. After trying out a kitchen table workspace and a tray on the couch set up it was DEFINITELY time to move on to having everything together…

After I learn what works and doesn’t, I will post the full area!

Happy Wednesday! Do you need a more inspiring and organized space for your business?

Music Monday | Joshua Radin

LOVE LOVE LOVE Joshua Radin’s  “Beautiful Day”. Such a great song, enough said!

Today is a beautiful day and one of those days where I am feeling optimistic and excited. I am working on my office and am loving the result, more posts to come on that! I also met a lovely couple this morning during a Skype meeting, and had a lunch break with a sweet friend and her adorable baby girl. So yes, today is a beautiful day and listening to songs like this helps me to reflect and appreciate 12 hour periods like this.

Alan + Nancy | Nestledown Los Gatos, CA Wedding

Alan & Nancy exuded love throughout the entire day among their closest friends and family. I mean just look at them.

I joined the wonderful Teresa Halton Photography at Nestledown in Los Gatos and could not have enjoyed the day more. Decadent appetizers, a sea of desserts, and details that will make you swoon coming up!

Music Monday | Priscilla Ahn

Priscilla Ahn’s song “Dream” reminds me of so many memories.

Gina-One of my best friends. She walked down the isle to this song on her wedding day four years ago.

My Dad-it’s one of his favorite songs that I sing and he watches my “Dream” cover from 2009 on youtube often ;-)

Adam-Contrary to popular belief, he can hit the high, soft, angelic notes  while singing along and it is very impressive.

College-My roommates and group of friends from Fullerton regularly played music together since 3/4 of us roomies were musical. And the fourth…she blew bubbles for this music video to contribute as you will see below. This is the reason for my laughing throughout the video.

Happy Monday!
